While at Syracuse University I followed the '08-'09 Jamesville-Dewitt varsity basketball team. I filmed over twenty games during their New York state championship run. The team won the state title behind New York's Mr. Basketball, Brandon Triche.
The Red Rams were one of the best high school basketball teams I have ever seen. The team became nationally known after a convincing win over Lincoln high school out of New York City. The team ended the season with a 27-2 record. They appeared to be men amongst boys trotting out a starting five with each player standing at least six feet tall.
After the season I sat down with coach Bob McKenney for a one-on-one interview.
